Iris nearly beats down the door to the bar as she returns to Milliways, the color of her skin nearly sickly-pale and hair darkened with her frustration and anger.

Anger. Iris, goddess of color and light and rainbows, is angry.

She almost runs to the door towards the lake, throws it open, and immediately takes flight. No paths of light trail behind her.

Iris hisses through her teeth at sensation and presence and heat, hands all tangled in Charles' hair.

At her hiss and all her feelings, he groans, moving with her, keeping himself open as he tries not to get too lost.

After silent moments, and not-silent ones, Iris' eyes shut and she just sees color, all cerulean and citrine and summer-bright; Charles' name is on her lips when she comes.

At the colors in her head plus the emotions, he comes soon after with a gasp as he's on the verge of being overwhelmed.

Iris shudders as Charles comes down off his high, remnants of sensation from him mentally and physically.

"Such an adventure you are."

He leans against her with a dazed smile, "As are you."

Iris lets her head loll back against the bed, supine and pliant.

She is definitely not tired.

However - Do you care to wash? I can call the water for you.

That would get the bed wet, I can move. Though he doesn't want to just yet.

"Not here!" she laughs, hitting Charles in the shoulder.

"I could, but I wouldn't." It needs clarifying!

"Oh, yes, that makes more sense," He kisses her while she laughs.

It does me good to see you laugh.

You make me happy.

Eventually Iris does drag Charles out to the bathroom, Connect Four in her hands and filling the tub.

It's an incredibly simple game, and Iris eventually devolves into just making patterns with the disks in the grid.

He watches her play and then make designs and smiles, "Are you coming in?"

Iris puts the game right at the edge of the tub in case that become a good idea to beat Charles at it later, and steps into the water, dousing her hair.

"Come here,"

There's some shampoo near the side and he gets some in his hands and guides her so he can was her hair.

Iris narrows her eyes slightly in confusion.

"What are you doing, kyrios?"

"Washing your hair. Its one of the most restful things to have someone do it for you."

"That's not" a requirement, repeating from earlier.

But that's not the point, either.

"You did it for me and it felt wonderful and I want you to feel it. Its one of those simple pleasures."

That was different.

Somehow.

But she does move closer to Charles to let him do...whatever.

How?

He starts to massage her hair, enjoying the feel of her thick hair and looking for ways to relax her.

"It simply was."

Iris may be a goddess, but a goddess of service. It's...different.

"You'll have to explain it to me." Since he has no idea how its that different.

Iris inhales, getting her thoughts in order.

I do for others. It is my way and my duty. So to act for you was -- a privilege of sorts. Something I chose.

...So maybe not that different?

Who knows.
