Iris nearly beats down the door to the bar as she returns to Milliways, the color of her skin nearly sickly-pale and hair darkened with her frustration and anger.

Anger. Iris, goddess of color and light and rainbows, is angry.

She almost runs to the door towards the lake, throws it open, and immediately takes flight. No paths of light trail behind her.

So are you. His pants are off and he resumes kissing her around her stomach.

Charles makes the wind rush in Iris' ears; she loves him for it, but he's too far away from her fingers. She would bring him pleasure here if he might let her.

He moves up to kiss and asks. Better?

He smiles and runs a hand through her hair, he loves how with her he can be open and so present.

"Now if I remember correctly, someone said something about taking care of me."

"Yes, tell me what you want, Iris."

It's easier to show. Iris has never had - or needed to have - the vocabulary for this. None of her messages ever needed the passion contained here, for him.

Listen. So she shows him her daydream from home - Charles and Iris together, Charles looking at her from above, fingers and the thrust of a hip to make the bed shake beneath them - and her mind stutter-steps, reaching back to earlier, and Charles and pineapple juice off Iris' hand.

He smiles and kisses her before lifting her onto the bed, her can make that come true.

I really will get better at this.

Asking.

Being able to say this sort of thing out loud.

But she's got better things on her mind now.

It takes time to learn what you like and what you want. Later I'll show how long it took me to figure things out myself.

For now though there are other things to do.

He shifts her closer to him and smiles into her skin.

Oh seeing about getting you lost in pleasure for a time.

Iris' mouth goes dry at the concept and nods even though no question was asked that needed answering.

How are you even real?

He could probably ask her to jump off the edge of the world right now and she'd do it.

He kisses her on the lips than lower as he gently enters her, finding just the right position to make everything be a little more.

Iris hisses through her teeth at sensation and presence and heat, hands all tangled in Charles' hair.

At her hiss and all her feelings, he groans, moving with her, keeping himself open as he tries not to get too lost.

After silent moments, and not-silent ones, Iris' eyes shut and she just sees color, all cerulean and citrine and summer-bright; Charles' name is on her lips when she comes.

At the colors in her head plus the emotions, he comes soon after with a gasp as he's on the verge of being overwhelmed.

Iris shudders as Charles comes down off his high, remnants of sensation from him mentally and physically.

"Such an adventure you are."

He leans against her with a dazed smile, "As are you."

Iris lets her head loll back against the bed, supine and pliant.

She is definitely not tired.

However - Do you care to wash? I can call the water for you.

That would get the bed wet, I can move. Though he doesn't want to just yet.

"Not here!" she laughs, hitting Charles in the shoulder.

"I could, but I wouldn't." It needs clarifying!

"Oh, yes, that makes more sense," He kisses her while she laughs.
