Research!
After finding her way to Milliways again, Iris finally learned about the rooms upstairs.
And there is a library!
A copy of Aesop's Fables gets produced for Iris, and is read several times over with great interest and confusion (at times), before really thinking about the opportunities.
"...Where could I find a scroll on...genetics?"
The book provided by the library engrosses Iris for quite some time - she gives up the attention required to hide her wings from view after the first hour.

Although Iris' confusion remains on her face, she starts with, "I returned to Olympus after the party. The lady Artemis asked me to look over the new dedication of a grove in her honor."
It's been a quiet week or so.
"If I am not working, I...stay in Olympus. I did visit my father a few days ago."

He's curious about the relationships between the gods as opposed to just the stories about them.

Iris reaches towards Charles to mimic his tic, fingers to temple.
"Can you see him?"

Then he focuses and he finds the image and feeling she presents to him, "Oh yes."

"My father says he can see me from the sky. I like to believe it is true."

He knows that while he knows most of his limits, there are still things he can always learn. Gods abilities seem slightly more set but its hard to tell. Nothing in Iris' world is quite the same as what the stories say.

Charles' loved his parents but they were apart in their own ways.
